So I’m new to all this and I have been watching a lot of YT videos. Most people seem to be focused on gardening and canning. They also often have a lot of Mountain House or other long-shelflife foods in their pantries.

But I don’t really see a lot of supplements or even total meal replacement powders (like Soylent, etc.). Is there a reason for this? It seems like the ideal apocalypse food. I know its not the most amazing thing to eat, but when it comes to keeping the body going, the point of the meal replacement is to provide everything that someone needs and nothing they don’t.

Any reasonings?
